Warlocks are the self-sufficient burst damage mages for Cora (don't believe me? level 30+ caster we might and caster buff and using roguen gold int 30 staff drops a clod in 3-4 expert spells).
The main point behind Warlocks is aside from having crazy mad spike damage, they are awesome AoE blasters which Summoners lack a bit. Stone curse is also nice, takes an enemy out of the fight for a few to a couple of precious seconds to drop his buddies.
They also have much better HP compared to summoners. Problems? They're bad against rangers since all of their power is force, if a guy can out-pot your spells, then its /gg
Summoner or Mage: Stat-wise Summoners are the best PvPers Cora has to offer, mainly because of their summons which pwn something fierce with Paimon teh uber tank, Inanna for saving monies on pots, Hecate the crit beast, and Isis with damage close to a BMAU. Problems with these folks?
After the staff damage nerf and mob elemental resist increase casters get the shaft hard. If you really want to go warlock at 40 you should class to summoner at 30 then redefine to caster before you promote at 40.
